This small two hectare woodland is an oasis of nature surrounded by an industrial estate near to a motorway junction.

Whilst it is a haven for butterflies and other insects, newts and frogs, as well as some larger animals such as rabbits and foxes, Hagbourne Copse is mostly known for it's beautiful violet carpet of blue bells which bloom in the spring.

Whilst this site does not have it's own car park, there is plenty of free on street parking immediately next to the wood.

There are clearly worn paths through the wood, but is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users.
