North West

The north west of England is most well known for the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, with England's highest mountain and deepest lake, it as an area that has been enjoyed by nature lovers for centuries. There is more to the region though, with upland moors on the western side of the Pennines, and the lowland marshes along the flat coastal regions, which create a varied and beautiful landscape.
